The brief: To illustrate Scottish highlands landscapes.
The context: London based branding specialist Bloom has redesigned SERIOUSLY (previously Seriously Strong), a Scottish cheese brand. Seriously is introducing a new selection of creamy cheeses to target a new consumer group- young families with children
What I did: Their re-design splits the cheeses into two ranges: Strong and Creamy. The two ranges needed different, simplified colour-illustrations of landscapes to help consumers shop and navigate the packs.
The landscape design feature reflects the brand’s pride in its Scottish provenance. It also links variation in the local landscape to differences in the cheese texture, by making the rugged mountains of South West Scotland the hero of the Strong Range while the smoother, pastural terrains are the focus of the creamy range.
